TV John and Kate plus Eight

John and Kate plus 8 is a TV show about a family that has twins and sextuplets. Every show you can see how hard it is to take care of a big group of kids. Part of popular culture today is more people are having invetro insemination. Twins and sextuplets are what happens sometimes. They have lots of adventures and it is interesting to see how they do every day things. It is a popular show and people email them and write stuff about them. Many people send them emails and ask them how they manage their lives.

Technology Changes the World

The world today has technology. Some technology is very important for life and existence like energy, transportation and computers. I feel like I’m a different person because I don’t like technology. For example, I don’t have a cell phone, I use public telephones, I don’t like computers, but I need to use them. Some technology is very comfortable and practical like elevators and wash machines. Some technology gives people an easier life and you can have more time for yourself. I think we will have more and more technology in the future, but is good for people? Do people really need an I-phone or an electric toothbrush? I don’t think so.

Review; The Life Before Her Eyes

The film focuses on the life of Diana who apparently survived. The film shows the development of the friendship between the young slightly wild Diana and young conservative Maureen. The film also flashes to Diana’s life 15 years later and the emotional troubles she faces after surviving the meeting with the murderer. The film twists and turns a lot and at times is hard to understand what is going on.
I like the film because I could see the past and the present and the situation Diana had to deal with. I was impressed by the ending because it gave more meaning to what happened before. The actors played well and appeared natural and the imagery was good. I also like how Diana’s daughter had the same character as her mother. The film was great but I think they flashed back and forth a little too much.

Feel Good Inc, by Gorillaz is a song about the group being trapped in a device of their own making. Their empty dreams have been fulfilled. They dream of windmill floating in the air, which represents freedom. The gorillaz experience is best experienced trough their music videos, it's different becase gorillaz is a virtual rock band. The music is original and has many different types of music.

Reading-Barrier Between Adult's and Children's Entertainment

I like this topic because it is interesting how adults want to be children and how children want to be adults. Some people collect toys like me. I collect dolls because they give me a nice feeling. Children play with toys. I guess the only real difference is the words collect and to play with. Some things like movies are difficult to understand for young children. I think the best entertainment is entertainment that makes you think or feel. Children's movies that have some adult themes or concepts make children think and children's themes in movies helps adults feel (nostalgia). Sometimes I play with my nephew and neice to help me forget my problems and give me a chance to be in a different world. This world has everything and if you want to feel like a kid you can. Children need to learn adult concepts too. Why not put all of it together in one film?
